The key issue is whether Android 13 will run on top of Samsung OneUI 5.
We see a lot of hardware leaks before a phone launch, but it's more difficult to pinpoint software tweaks and upgrades. We've heard that the Galaxy S23 will most likely run Android 13, which will be concealed under Samsung's OneUI 5. However, there is no big news regarding upgrades or how long Samsung would provide OS updates for the Galaxy S23 range.

Samsung OneUI differs greatly from the version of Android used by Google on Pixel phones. Many of the motions and novel concepts that every other Android maker currently employs are absent.

It would be good to see Samsung catch up with OneUI, but Samsung moves at such a glacial pace with software innovation that you may question whether it has ever evolved at all.
